Mini Pans

These pans produce rich, authentic tones and can be played along with other musical instruments. They are masterfully made with precision and a keen eye for detail. Notes are marked for easy recognition and the pans are tuned to concert pitch (A 440) - they are not toys, as is the case with a lot of mini pans that are sold elsewhere. These mini pans can conveniently be played on table tops.

Collapsable PVC stand and mallets are included. Mini pans in other diatonic scales can be made upon request.

Diatonic Mini - Range: C5 to C6

Ideal for children or for display as ornamental pieces. It spans an 8 note range. You can play simple melodies on this drum.

Diatonic Middle C Mini - Range: C4 to G5

This pan is made from a 18 inch diameter drum and is tuned to C diatonic. It spans a 12 note range. Designed by Jason Roseman to play melodies with two mallets and play chords with four mallets. You can play popular songs such as Stevie Wonder's My Cherie Amour, John Lennon's Imagine, Trinidadian traditional Matilda, Beethoven's Ode to Joy, Bob Marley's Three Little Birds, and many more on this pan! Also play chords to harmonize hundreds of popular songs using: I VI II V, I V I, I IV I and many more progressions. This instrument is a customer favorite!

C5 Chromatic Mini - Range: C5 to F sharp 6

This pan plays notes high above the treble clef. It spans a 19 note range. Its notes are comparable to the inner notes of a 23 inch diameter C Lead.

A440 Chromatic Mini - Range: A4 to E6

This brand new range of steel drum was developed by Jason Roseman and is made from a 18 inch diameter drum in the fourths and fifths configuration. It is like regular 23 inch diameter steel drums played by professionals. It spans a 20 note chromatic range from A4 to E6; tones/notes are bright and brilliant.

Play music written in middle and high treble register with this instrument. Tuned to concert pitch, this steel drum is a customer favorite and can be played with other musical instruments. Notes are marked for easy recognition. Shipped with mallets and floor stand.

Chromatic Mini - Range: Fsharp 4 to B5

This steel drum is made from a 17 inch diameter drum in the fourths and fifths configuration. It is perfect for the familiarization process of a child or adult and can be used along with conventional instruments. You can play music written in low to high treble registers on this steel drum. Notes are bright and sweet. This steel drum spans a 18 note chromatic range from F#4 to B5 and rivals conventional size Single Leads in all aspects except range. Notes are marked for easy recognition.
