This style of instrument was designed and perfected by Joseph E. Roseman, and was first used by the Teenage Symphony in San Fernando, Trinidad. This style and range of instrument was brought to international recognition by Mr. Roseman and the outstanding KLM Cordettes, world renowned for their superior tonal quality and classical renditions during the glory days of steelband musical festivals of the 1950's and 1960's in Trinidad, WI. This style Double Tenor is also used at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, USA, where Mr. Roseman taught. Many tuners have unsuccessfully tried to rival the design and tonal quality of this revolutionary Double Tenor. Its tuning secrets remain secure within the Roseman family. Click
